Boarding Services
Mountain View Stables (MVS), a 33-acre horse farm, offers pasture and stall boarding, spaces for horse training and trail-riding, and storage space for feed, tack, and horse trailers. At no extra cost, owners of boarded horses have the use of a large INDOOR arena (50’ by 100’), large competition-size outdoor arena, trails and pasture for riding, assigned tack room space, and trailer parking. Five separate pastures are available for boarding and turnout purposes.
Pasture Boarding: On a daily basis, your horse will be given feed plus hay in the winter as necessary. Water is available 24/7 in pastures. Price: $275 monthly plus approximately $45 additional per month November - March for hay on an as needed basis.
Stall Boarding: Your horse will have a roomy stall (12’ x 12’) and will be given horse feed twice per day. Water and forage will be available in stalls and pastures. Stall board also includes the provision of shavings, stall cleaning, and turn-out. Price: $400 monthly plus approximately $45 additional per month November - March for extra hay on an as needed basis.
Feed and hay* are provided by the owner for both types of boarding. Storage space for feed and hay is provided. Boarding fees are locked-in per one-year contract and are subject to change at the end of each annual contract and subsequent annual renewal.
*MVS personnel will secure and transport hay with the horse owner covering the cost of the hay.
Riding Lessons
Riding lessons are available for children and adults for a cost of $40 for a 45 minute lesson.
